Research keywords before you write — against real queries
This page is the research tool: find and cluster queries and intent. It does not generate article bodies. The writer is a later step, with its own landing page.
The problem: write first, keyword later
Teams open a chat, say “write article X”, then discover the SERP is answering Y. The draft collides with an existing URL or answers a question nobody searches.
Citely keeps research off the drafting prompt
Workspace keyword research gathers queries, coverage hints, and topic gaps. The user picks what to write — then moves to the AI SEO Writer. The two jobs are not one prompt.
Research flow
01
Enter a topic or seed
Start from a cluster or seed keyword, not from a finished draft.
02
Collect queries and intent
Lists are grouped by what the searcher wants to know, compare, or do — not by keyword density.
03
See coverage before committing a draft
The point is which queries already have pages and which are still open — so you do not write two URLs for one intent.
04
Hand off to the writer once a keyword is chosen
Only the chosen keyword enters the writing pipeline. That step lives on the writer landing page.
What research does
- Suggest and cluster keywords/intent in the workspace keyword-research tool.
- Feed the writer — it does not replace Google Ads Keyword Planner or Search Console.
- Helps avoid duplicate intent before you spend a monthly article slot.
- Figures depend on the SERP/tool sources Citely is connected to; not Google’s internal dataset.
Honest limits
Citely does not have Google’s internal ranking data. Volume, difficulty, and suggestions are tool estimates — check the customer’s own Search Console before spending budget. Usage follows the published plan.
